Project Description
Located in unincorporated DeKalb County, this age-restricted project is the second of three pahses. The project consisted of 60 units in one building that included a full service amenity package as well as 44ea 1-story units called the Villas. The concept would allow senior residents to “age in place” – moving from the Villas to the Gardens (60 unit building). LDG Consulting’s scope, although brought on after construction commenced, was to ensure that both the Owner and the Developer were protected during the construction process by providing advisory services as well some development related services. In addition, we provided advisory services during the construction phase which included draw reviews, answered questions from the architect and contractor on behalf of Owner. Reviewed and approved change order requests, payment applications and time extension requests, etc.
