BEACON STATION
Located in the Laney Walker / Bethlehem area of Augusta, the newly constructed market-rate community will help fill a void of Class A housing at the gateway to the Medical District, the region’s economic engine. LDG Consulting was engaged to assist the in-house developer in performing quality control and unit acceptance services as the general contractor completed units in each building as well as the amenity and common spaces. As a result of our work, our client was able to focus on bringing opening with a new property management team in a new market that had a larger than expected demand. Our services include analyzing the general contractor’s schedule, tracking the GC’s projected acceptance of units vs. actual acceptance, and establishing a framework for the calculation of liquidated damages if required per the contract.
